Music by Goodie Bag with Tim Whalen
and Guest Appearance by
Conner Schaeffer (Class of 2014)

Goodie Bag is a brand new musical project put together by Marbletown Elementary Math Teacher Tim Whalen. Whalen has gathered together some of his favorite jazz musicians to play at this year’s fund raiser. Tim’s daughter Maggie (Rondout class of 2010) will be singing lead vocals. Frank Doblekar, who taught at Rosendale Elementary for most of his career will be playing saxophone. Jerry Mahoney is currently a kindergarten teaching assistant at Marbletown Elementary and will be featured on guitar and keys. Whalen’s long time friend Vin Warner from Monroe will be on upright bass. Whalen will be playing drums. Goodie Bag will be grooving on some well known jazz standards as well as some original compositions.

Connor grew up in Stone Ridge, attending Marbletown elementary and Rondout Middle and High Schools, and then studying vocal performance for 3 years at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He left school to pursue various opportunities in the blooming cannabis industry, including extraction, CBD and hemp sales, working on medicinal cannabis farms, and obtaining a license with the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets to grow hemp for the 2019 season in Kerhonkson. Having lived and worked in Maine, Washington D.C., Kentucky, and places between since college, he is excited to recently come back to his hometown and work with Ertel Alsop in Kingston, find musical activities to participate in locally, and stay closer to his family. On May 4, 2022,
