Our Mission
The Rondout Valley Education Foundation (RVEF) is committed to enhancing educational opportunities for the children of the Rondout Valley Central Schools in partnership with the larger community. Founded with the goal of providing funding for student-centered programs and facility needs beyond the scope of the school’s annual operating budget, RVEF aims to support and enhance the educational opportunities for the students of the RVCSD. The foundation seeks alternative sources of funding to support educationally-related opportunities for students, awards grants to students, teachers, and educational service providers, builds an endowment for continued service to the school community, and encourages greater involvement in and support for the School by the community, parents, alumni, the private sector, and others.

The Rondout Valley Education Foundation exists to support the ideas that educators care enough to bring forward.
Each year, we fund classroom projects, student programs, and creative initiatives that would not otherwise be possible. These projects help students explore, create, and engage more deeply in their learning.
From hands-on science experiences to arts programs and student-led initiatives, these grants bring renewed energy and opportunity into our schools.
