4th Grade Field Trip

to Medieval Times

On Friday, March 20th, the 4th graders took an amazing field trip to Medieval Times in Lyndhurst, NJ. In our new ELA curriculum, Amplify, 4th graders have been learning about knights and castles during Medieval Times. They have read an informational book that goes through the training of a knight, the importance of castles during this time period, jousting tournaments as entertainment, and much more! 4th graders got to see all of this in person during the Medieval Times performance! Students received flags to cheer for their knight (the black and white knight) that represented our section within the castle. 4th graders enjoyed a meal and the entertaining performance by the Medieval Times crew! This field trip would not have been possible without the support and funding from Mr. Cutler, the amazing PTSA, a grant from the RVEF, and the 4th graders who competed in a coin battle! Thank you to all of the parents who helped by donating or sending in loose change. Special thanks to the PTSA for their support and the RVEF for providing a grant to help pay for student tickets. We can't thank you enough for helping to make this field trip possible for our 4th Graders! Thank you, Jill Grasso 4th Grade Teacher/Team Leader Rondout Valley Intermediate School

Ms. Spencer's

Music Field Trip

What happens when students are given the opportunity to share their talents beyond the classroom? 🎶 They create moments that people never forget. 💙 They connect across generations. ✨ They realize the power of their voices. Thanks to a grant from RVEF, Miss Spencer’s students were able to travel to Ten Broeck Nursing Home and Brookside Preschool—bringing music, joy, and connection to the community. One student performed for her grandmother for the first time in years. A resident was so moved, she said it was the most special moment she’d experienced. And for the students? They didn’t just perform… They felt it. 💬 “Students felt a great sense of pride when they saw the impact they had on others.” This is what your support makes possible.

HV Renegades

Chorus at The

HV Renegades

Because of an RVEF grant, the Rondout Valley Middle School Chorus had the opportunity to perform the National Anthem before a Hudson Valley Renegades game. By funding transportation, RVEF helped make a once-in-a-lifetime experience possible for these talented students. Standing on a professional baseball field, representing their school and community, and sharing their voices with thousands of fans is a memory they will carry with them for years to come. “I wanted to thank you again for your generosity, patience, and flexibility. Your organization helped create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for my students; we are all extremely grateful.” — Rebecca Spencer, Rondout Valley Music Educator This is the impact of your support. 💙 Creating opportunities. 💙 Inspiring students. 💙 Giving Wings to Dreams. Thank you to everyone who supports the Rondout Valley Education Foundation and helps make experiences like this possible. 🌐 www.rvefoundation.org

Flags Against Sky

Mrs. Kissel’s

6th grade class

From Classroom to the World Stage Because of your support, Mrs. Kissel’s 6th grade class had the incredible opportunity to visit the United Nations — turning classroom lessons into real-world experiences. Students walked the halls where global decisions are made, explored international perspectives, and saw firsthand how collaboration shapes our world. This wasn’t just a field trip. It was a moment that expanded minds, inspired futures, and showed our students what’s possible. 💙 This is the impact of RVEF. 💙 This is what your support makes possible. When you give, you’re not just donating — you’re opening doors to opportunities our students will never forget. 👉 Help us create more life-changing experiences.
