RVEF Supports Town of Rochester Summer Program to Hurd’s Farm

Supporting the Town of Rochester Summer Program – RVEF funded a trip to Hurd’s Farm. The kids were surprised to learn how tricky it is to make a corn maze and how apple trees are grafted to change the variety. (Ashley Sweeney – Summer ’21)

Snowshoe Science Adventure

This snowy winter was perfect for Intermediate School students to get out on RVEF funded snowshoes for some science adventure!  The snowshoes will  be shared with many classes throughout the coming years. (Year ’20-’21)

Rondout School to Work Program Kids Participate in TIP

Seventy-two 1st Graders Visit SUNY New Paltz Planetarium

June 7, 2019

After completion of their astronomy unit, seventy-two 1st graders from Marbletown Elementary went to SUNY New Paltz Planetarium to see things like planets, constellations and the space station “up close”. Carol Lagoy was granted funding through RVEF.
